Frequently Asked Questions
Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is the concrete that has been manufactured to contain closed air pockets. Being one-fifth the weight of concrete, AAC is available as panels and blocks which can be used for cladding and loadbearing
ORILITE is without a doubt extremely durable which can withstand all the toughest extreme climatic conditions. Be it Freezing Cold, Drastic Rainfall, or Extreme summers, Orilite will never fall apart.
Orilite Blocks are dispatched within 7 working days after confirmation of order and there is no seasonal variation in supplies
Chipping:- As per IS code 2185 P-3 Cl. 8.1.1 corners damaged up tom thick will be considered in chipping and allowable chipped material is 5 % in consignment.
Damaged: ORILITE will replace or refund materials that arrive at the Jobsite defective or damaged after 3 % of the consignment on our trucks. Photograph the material (preferably while it is still on the truck) to document the damage. All damage claims must be made to ORILITE within 3 working days of receiving the material. Later damage claims will not be cured.
Orilite is a soft material, and it is normal for blocks to have chipped corners. Lintels and panels tend to get skinned or dented during transport and handling. This is not considered refundable damage unless the materials are unusable.
Because Orilite is such a workable material, most pieces can be used even with minor damage. Damaged ends can be trimmed.
Extra Material: Approximately 5% extra material should be figured in your estimate to cover jobsite waste and Incidental transit and handling damage.
